1. Arrange apples in greased 9 X 9 X 2-inch baking pan.
2. Mix flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg; cut in margarine or butter until crumbly. Stir in walnuts; spoon evenly over apples.
3. Bake at 375°F for 20 to 30 minutes or until fruit is tender and topping is crisp
