BERRY & ALMOND PIZZA
INGREDIENTS
MAKES 2 LOAVES
- 1 (6-INCH) WHOLE-WHEAT PITA
- 3 TABLESPOONS ALMOND BUTTER
- 1/3 CUP FRESH BERRIES
- 1 TABLESPOON PLANTERS SLICED ALMONDS, ROASTED
INSTRUCTIONS
Toast pita. Spread with almond butter, and sprinkle with fresh berries and almonds. Cut in half and serve.
NOTE: To roast almonds: spread in an ungreased baking pan. Place in 350°F. oven and bake 10 minutes or until golden brown and fragrant; stir once or twice to assure even browning. Note that almonds will continue to roast slightly after removing from oven.
