Planters Cocktail Peanuts

JELLY BEAN MALLOW BARS

When you prepare this festive dessert, have the kids help add the jelly beans.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 (2-layer size) yellow or chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup margarine or butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 3 cups Miniature Marshmallows
  • 1 cup miniature jelly beans
  • 1/2 cup PLANTERS COCKTAIL Peanuts, chopped

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Mix dry cake mix, margarine and egg until blended. Press on bottom of greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.

2. Bake at 375°F for 16 to 18 minutes or until light golden brown. DO NOT OVERBAKE.

3. Evenly sprinkle marshmallows, jelly beans and peanuts over baked layer. Bake for 4 to 6 minutes more or until marshmallows begin to melt. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars; store in airtight container.
