BUTTERSCOTCH BROWNIES

Easy bar cookies, filled with the rich flavor of butterscotch and pecans.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 (4-serving size) package Instant butterscotch pudding & pie filling
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup margarine or butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup PLANTERS Pecans, chopped
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Blend pudding mix, flour, sugar, eggs, margarine or butter, vanilla, baking powder and salt in medium bowl with electric mixer at medium speed; beat 2 minutes. Stir in pecans. Spread in greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan.
2. Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool in pan. Cut into squares.
